Unlocking the helpline - Evaluation

In March 2016, we published Unlocking the helpline, an independent analysis and evaluation of our confidential peer-run helpline carried out by Professor Sue Wilkinson of the University of York.

Unlocking Banking

This project ran until 2014, developing effective, efficient & secure access to banking for people in prison before release

Criminal records: Learning from Europe

In 2014, Christopher Stacey travelled across Europe, funded by the Winston Churchill Memorial Trust, to look at how other countries deal with criminal records.

Unlocking Credit Unions

In 2013, Unlock published a research report alongside Liverpool John Moores University looking into the role of Credit Unions in the criminal justice system

Unlocking Insurance

This project ran until 2012, and focused on ensuring people with convictions were treated fairly by insurers.

Time is Money

In 2010, Unlock worked with Prison Reform Trust to look at the impact of the criminal justice system on financial exclusion.
