Julie Harmsworth LLB FRSA | Deputy Chief Executive Julie Harmsworth LLB FRSA Deputy Chief Executive If you would like to contact Julie: T: 01634 247350 E: julie.harmsworth@unlock.org.uk Having previously worked in both the public and private sectors and as volunteer in various community groups, Julie joined UNLOCK in 2000 in a voluntary capacity. In 2001 she was engaged as assistant to the Deputy Chief Executive (DCE) assuming the position of DCE herself in 2004. Since then Julie has played a key role in the Charity’s evolution and strategic development with particular focus on fundraising and financial management. She plays a leading role in UNLOCK’s campaigns to gain the vote for serving prisoners and to reform of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act. Julie has represented UNLOCK in various forums, including the Criminal Justice Alliance, the Executive Management Board of SEEDA’s EXODUS Project, the RSA Prison Learning Network and CLINKS Taskforce. She has recently become a member of the newly formed Criminal Justice Forum of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy. Julie is a graduate of Kent Law School at the University of Kent gaining a 2.1 LLB (Hons) and was elected a fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce (RSA) in 2004.
